Incident reporting

Log spills, equipment failures, and customer issues with severity levels, photos, and manager acknowledgment workflows.

When to log an incident

Incidents capture anything that needs owner or manager attention: spills, equipment failures, customer injuries, security issues, or supply chain problems.

Reporting from mobile

  1. Tap Report incident from the mobile app or dashboard header.
  2. Select severity: low, medium, high, or critical.
  3. Describe what happened with clear, factual notes.
  4. Attach photos of the scene or damage.
  5. Submit — managers receive notifications immediately.
Creating an incident report with photo and severity selection

Manager workflow

  1. Open Dashboard → Incidents to see open reports.
  2. Acknowledge to confirm you are handling it.
  3. Resolve when closed, or reopen if the issue returns.
  4. Export CSV for insurance or compliance records.

Tip: Train staff to report incidents in the moment — not at end of shift when details fade.
