Meet Scout
Scout is StoreBoard's in-dashboard AI assistant, available on the AI plan. It helps owners and managers draft task templates, look up team data, and summarize operations — in plain language.
Opening Scout
- Confirm your organization is on the AI plan.
- Open Dashboard → Scout from the sidebar.
- Type a question or request in the chat input.

What Scout can do
Create task templates from natural language descriptions. Summarize recent incidents or stock alerts. Answer questions about shifts and team assignments. Suggest task ideas based on your industry.
Upgrading to AI
- Org owners open Dashboard → Settings → Billing.
- Upgrade from Essentials to AI.
- Scout unlocks immediately for all admins and managers.
Tip: Try prompts like "Create an opening checklist for a coffee shop" or "Summarize incidents this week at Main Street."
